Attorney Donald Boyd is the partner that oversees the firm’s international and immigration department and also practices in the areas of commercial, business, real estate and construction litigation. Donald obtained his undergraduate degree in political science and graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He then attended the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida where he obtained his juris doctorate and graduated cum laude. After graduating from law school, Donald served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Law Offices of the Public Defender Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Donald then moved back to Naples, Florida and started practicing civil litigation with the Kramer Law Firm, P.A. and later with the Frater Law Firm, P.A. Donald has been with the law firm of Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti & Rudnick, LLP since 2010. He has significant experience in all aspects of commercial and civil litigation. In addition to his civil litigation practice, Donald has developed a strong immigration practice and helped develop successful immigration strategies for clients locally and worldwide. He represents businesses and individuals in a variety of immigration matters, including employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visas, family-based cases and naturalization. Donald has been a member in good standing of the Florida Bar since 2005 and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Donald is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
