Joshua D. Rudnick is a shareholder at Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti & Rudnick LLP. Working out of WWMR’s Naples office, he represents clients in commercial and residential real estate and business matters, including transactions, development, financing, construction, bank representation, and commercial lending.

A Relationship-Driven Approach to Law

Josh practices law because he enjoys helping people navigate some of the most significant financial and personal decisions of their lives. Whether representing a first-time homebuyer, a family office, a developer, an investor, or a business owner, he approaches every matter with the same philosophy: prepare thoroughly, communicate clearly, anticipate issues before they arise, and treat others with the same level of respect he expects in return.

Every transaction presents a unique set of opportunities and challenges. The work requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, negotiation, and a practical approach to resolving issues while keeping transactions moving forward. Josh works closely with clients and other professionals to structure transactions that manage risk, protect their interests, and support their big-picture objectives.

Josh has built his practice around long-term client relationships. Many clients return to him year after year for guidance on successive real estate investments and business ventures, and some relationships have grown to include multiple generations of the same family.

Clients value his accessibility, responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to identify potential issues before they become obstacles. His goal is to give clients confidence that he is genuinely invested in their success. For Josh, earning and maintaining client trust is the most rewarding part of practicing law.

Community Involvement & Personal Commitment

Josh has served on nonprofit boards that advocate for individuals with disabilities. His commitment to that work is deeply personal. He has a younger sister with developmental disabilities and a son who is blind.

Those experiences have shaped his belief that meaningful advocacy requires more than expressions of support. He encourages businesses and communities to foster genuine empathy, meaningful inclusion, and lasting opportunities for people with disabilities.

Professional Background

Josh joined WWMR in 2014. Before joining the firm, he was a partner at the Naples law firm of Conroy, Conroy, Durant and Rudnick. He began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for Florida’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit.

Josh also enjoys mentoring younger attorneys and continually refining the firm’s processes to deliver a consistently high level of client service.
