Michael is the founder of the firm’s real estate department and serves as managing partner of the firm’s marketing department. Michael spends the majority of his time in the firm’s Vanderbilt Galleria office. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Michael obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (1994, B.A. English) and graduated with a juris doctorate from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University (1997). He is admitted to practice in Maryland (1997), the District of Columbia (2000), and Florida (2003) and is a member in good standing of these bars. Michael’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate law, real estate closings, commercial lending law, corporate formation and representation, and title insurance services. He has experience representing homeowners, developers, financial institutions, businesses and franchisees, and homeowners/condominium associations in various real estate and business related matters. Michael was formerly a litigator with the firm of Conroy, Coleman & Hazzard, PA. In September of 2004, he joined Morrison & Caudill, PL, and narrowed his area of practice to real estate and business transactions. In 2009, Michael formed the law offices of Michael L. Michetti, PL, and eventually merged that practice into the current firm. In addition, Michael co-founded and served as the Director of Business Development for the internet-based company, Reqwired, Inc.
Michael is active with both the Naples Area Board of Realtors (NABOR) and the Bonita Springs Estero Realtors, Inc. (BSER), serving as General Counsel for the latter. Michael conducts seminars throughout Naples and Bonita Springs on various real estate related topics and is the founder of the Firm’s Annual Realtor Assembly, an educational seminar event attended by hundreds of Realtors on an annual basis.
Michael married his beautiful wife, Jennifer, in May of 2008. Michael has two children and remains active in the community as a member of NABOR and BSER. He spent four seasons coaching his son William’s little league baseball in Naples and enjoys caddying for his daughter Isabella.
