In the Summer of 2014, NABOR released revised contracts and forms to its members. These forms included a NABOR Sales Contract – “AS IS” (Residential Improved Property)…and a new set of questions to our office surfaced. To start 2015, we have decided to review the new NABOR “As Is” Contract. This lunch seminar will include a discussion of:

  • The new “as is” due diligence period and what it says;
  • The Seller’s duty to maintain the Property – when it begins and when it ends
  • A Seller’s duty to disclose defects under the “as is’ Contract
  • When to use the “as is” Contract;
  • Differences between the NABOR “as is” and the FARBAR “as is”; are they interchangeable???…
