First Florida Integrity Bank – 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti & Rudnick is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring the 6th Annual First Florida Integrity Bank Charity Golf Tournament! The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Hideout Golf Club.

The firm will be serving as the driving range sponsor. We are proud to have this opportunity to support an annual event that benefits local charities, the Pace Center for Girls and Grace Place.

THE CHARITIES:

The PACE Center for Girls, Inc. is a nationally recognized and research-based model that features a balanced emphasis on academics and social services with a focus on the future for middle and high-school aged girls and young women. The PACE Center for Girls is located in Immokalee, Florida. PACE provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training, and advocacy. PACE values all girls and young women, believing each one deserves an opportunity to find her voice, achieve her potential and celebrate a life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity, and grace.

Grace Place empowers the children and families of Golden Gate city to change the course of their future through education. The educational programs are designed to bridge the academic achievement gap seen between families in middle- and upper-income households, and families with household incomes that fall beneath these economic lines. The Grace Place currently has over 800 students enrolled in educational programs that include: School Age Programs, English Language and Literacy Program, and the nationally recognized Bright Beginnings program. Although education is the core focus, Grace Place also offers a Friday Food Pantry that serves 200 families a week with a bag of basic groceries. Grace Place also works extensively with community partners to provide medical and mental health screenings and referrals for other services. These additional offerings support Grace Place’s mission by meeting the basic need of nourishment and health that is essential for strong mental and physical development
