RE: COVID-19 UPDATE / Essential Services
To Whom It May Concern:

As you are aware, the Governor of Florida recently issued Executive Order Number 20-91 (Essential Services and Activities During COVID-19 Emergency), in which a list of “essential services” are detailed. It is our opinion that real estate related businesses have been deemed “essential businesses” by meeting the categorical definition(s) as stated below:

• Other Community – or Government-Based Operations and Essential Functions: Residential and commercial real estate services, including settlement services.

• Residential/Shelter Facilities and Services: Workers responsible for handling property management, maintenance, and related service calls who can coordinate the response to emergency “at-home” situations requiring immediate attention, as well as facilitate the reception of deliveries, mail, and other necessary services.

• Residential/Shelter Facilities and Services: Workers responsible for the leasing of residential properties to provide individuals and families with ready access to available housing.

Accordingly, please know that the WWMR Real Estate Group is committed to continuing operations as planned and to ensure buyers and sellers remain in good standing under the terms of their residential purchase and sale agreements. Closings remain active and our office is taking every practical and technological measure available to provide seamless closing services. We remain committed to the protecting the safety and health of our clients and employees while continuing to provide closing, title and legal services.
